How about those lettering jobs on the 81 Speedway cars in the 70's. They were some of the best around.

This car was driven by Milton Ward of Great Bend. This photo was taken in 1968. It was taken at the shop west of Great Bend. The owners and crew were Buck Brown, Jim Brown and Eddie Ward. Jim is on the left in the photo along with Eddie. This car won numerous features and other races. R.I.P. Milton (3-30-1942/8-23-2000) Photo #

This was another ride for Milton Ward. This is when Milton haled from Chase. Eddie Ward, Buck Brown and Milton were all co-owners of this car.
Marvin dated this as 69-70. I'm thinking maybe more like 71-74 season? R.I.P. Milton (3-30-1942/8-23-2000)

This was Milton Ward's ride in the Clark Stone owned #97. Milton became known as "The Executioner" because of his driving ability and his desire to win. Marvin dated this photo as 71-73, I think it might be a couple years later. Maybe into the mid part of the 70's. Milton drove a couple of different style cars for Clark and they were both #97. A early 60's Chevy II, a 67-69 Camaro and then this Chevelle and the a 70's Camaro from the late 70's. They are on the site on other pages.
Now if someone has a color shot of the 55 Chevy blue and white from 70-72 season, we will probably have most of Milton's rides on the site. I do have a b/w of the 55 chevy on the site already. This car Milton won the Chase Speedway Championship in foresure.
