Here's the #77 before the 1974 season the Jack drove at the Hutch Nationals, and started on the pole in the late model 30 lap feature.

The Nelson Ford/Larry Nulf owned #77 at the Kansas State Fair Race. Who is the driver and what year paint scheme is this?
If my memory serves me right Orville Clinton, Bob Dauer, Dale Reed and Mel Potts served as drivers while Jack Petty was recovering. Was there another driver. Shelby Steenson took over in 79 full-time after Jack retired in the 78 season. The 79 season saw the Ford Fairmont graced the chassis of #77. The Mustang bodies they ran them for about 5 years.

Jack Petty race with Shelby Steenson #59 as they follow Jeff Scott #23.
What ever year this is, it's at the 1st and last Hutch 100 which was held in May or June, and I think it was 1977.
The Hutch 100 was promoted as a big paying race, but very few fans were in the stands.
