A shot from 1968. It's Benito Greenlee from Mesquite. This was probably Benito's 2nd year in racing. Benito was Awarded the Most Improved Driver in the 1971 season.

This #43 in 77 had Bobby Marshall from Dallas behind the wheel. In 78 Eldon Dotson from Plano and Jimmy Allard from Ennis was at the wheel. In 1979 Jimmy Allard was wheeling the #43. This photo was taken in that time period, and I'm unsure who this is behind the wheel.

Amarillo Speed Bowl flagman Myrle Davis in 1970's at the Southwest Championships on Labor Day weekend. This was one of the big races in the area. Looks like he is prepared for the Texas Panhandle's hot sun.
