I don't believe this was Johnny's regular ride in 1977, but he was in it at the OKC Winternationals. I believe Shady McWhorter drove this car at Devils Bowl. He would have won this heat race, if hadn't been for local favorite Buck Cadwell making a rare super appearance, and running away with the win.
