Rick Ungar aboard Shane's 12$ at Oklahoma City. I received this e-mail from Rick Ungar to shed some light on this photo. I blew up the photo and the name on the helmet is not Shane. I came to the track that day without a ride and Shane had 2 cars at the track. He hot lapped this car and thought the rear end broke so he got his other car out and said if we could get this car fixed I could drive it. It turned out the quick change gears were broke so we changed gears and went out and quailified on the front row of the World Of Outlaws Race that day. It wasn't meant to be though as we were running 3rd and taking the white flag lap a lapped car spun in front of us and I had to spin to miss him . It was almost a Cinderela story Though.
